Range Calculator

A range is the full set of hands a player could hold in a spot, rather than one specific holding. Range-vs-range equity averages every hand in one range against every hand in the other.

Yes (PLO4). Reference a precomputed preflop solver range with #format/line/hero, adding the opener where the line needs one: #6m/rfi/btn is the 6-max button open, #6m/3b/bb/sb is the big blind 3-betting a small-blind open. Ranges are frequency-weighted, so a hand that 3-bets 40% of the time enters at weight 0.40. See the Solver Ranges entry in the PPT syntax docs.

Equity is your average share of the whole pot: win only the hi in a heads-up pot and that runout books 50%, get quartered on the lo and it books 25%. The equity bar still sums to 100% across players. The hi / lo / scoops line under each player counts runouts instead: how often the range wins or ties the hi, wins or ties the lo, and scoops the whole pot (both halves outright, or the hi outright on boards where no lo qualifies).

They overlap. A hand that wins the hi and the lo on the same runout counts in both columns, and a tie counts for every player who shares that half. Each count answers its own question; only the equity bar has to sum to 100%.

Yes. O8 percentiles come from a 100,000-trial simulation and accept the 3h / 6h multiway ordering suffixes. Big O (5-card O8) ships a 20,000-trial table, the coarsest on the site, so treat top-X% bands as approximate; it is base ordering only, and a 3h or 6h suffix errors instead of silently answering a different question.
