Every preflop range, no daily limit
All of preflop is free: open-raising for every seat, 3-betting against every open, calling, 4-betting and beyond, and the limp and vs-limp lines, across all nine solves (6-max from 12bb to 200bb, plus heads-up at 100bb). The 6-max solves carry per-hand EV, and the Solver Notebook reads it, so you can rank a range by what a hand earns instead of how often it's played.
Preflop is the right thing to give away. A preflop mistake taxes every street after it, and the ranges are stricter than most pools play: the 100bb solve opens just 17.2% of hands from UTG. If that number surprises you, that's the argument for starting here; the free preflop charts summarize the same ranges on one page.
The preflop trainer plays full preflop hands by default: your seat rotates around a 6-max or heads-up table, opponents act from the solver, and you decide every time the action comes back to you until the flop. Switch that off and it quizzes you one spot at a time on the same lines, dealing hands weighted by how often they actually reach each spot, with fold and call always on the buttons so 0%-frequency traps exist.
Three rotating boards, plus one flop you choose
Each day the solver opens three rotating flops from the 1,755-flop library, plus one flop of your choice with a free account. The rotating three are the same for everyone. On those boards you get the complete solution: full strategies for both seats, per-hand frequencies, the 59-category range breakdown, and a daily set of turn and river runouts, five per street. Keep a practice streak on a free account and the set grows to twelve per street.
Practice mode runs on the daily boards too, so the loop is study the flop, then get dealt spots on it and see if your answers hold up. Game mode goes further: whole hands at a 6-max or heads-up table against opponents playing the solver's strategy, dealt from a full deck, graded on every decision the solver reaches and kept in Career Analysis. Postflop practice, the preflop trainer and Game mode share 50 hands a day on a free account, 15 without one.
One flop from your session, chosen by you
A free account gets one extra custom flop a day, shared across PLO, PLO5 and NLHE. Enter the flop and confirm your choice. You can study it at every available depth and seat matchup.
On that flop, choose up to five distinct cards for the turn and river. Each card counts once. Choose 2♠ on the turn and 9♥ on the river and you have used two of five; use 9♥ on the turn and 2♠ on the river in another line and you still have three choices left. You can add those later as you study. The same card cannot appear twice on one board.
The flop and chosen cards stay fixed until midnight Chicago time, then both reset. The rotating boards keep their separate daily runouts, and opening one does not spend your custom flop. Practice uses the cards you have already chosen; it never chooses new cards for you.

Use the rotation for breadth and your own flop for review
Use your chosen flop for a hand from your last session. The three rotating boards give you other textures to work through: monotone, paired, connected or dry. Study those as well and you cover boards you might skip when choosing every spot yourself.
The other use is grading yourself. Game mode deals whole hands on any board and grades every decision the solver reaches, and Career Analysis shows where your habits drift from the solve. Import a session into Hand Tracker (free to 100,000 hands) too, and its decision report puts your real first-in play beside the same solves. Then spend the daily boards on the textures you keep meeting.
When Core is worth it
Use your daily custom flop for a hand from last night. When you want to review several hands in one session or compare more than five runout cards, Core opens every flop with every turn and river runout, practice with no daily meter, every section of Career Analysis, 600 custom rivers a month, and the PLO5 and NLHE libraries on the same terms. $60 a month, or $49 a month billed annually, and the pricing page has the row-by-row split.
Until that moment, don't pay. The free tier doesn't expire and doesn't degrade, and we make it good on purpose: a free user who gets better is our best ad.
